2. What makes a short story different than a novel?
A short story is a story that has a everything that a novel has, but it is cut down very shortly. Some times a story story does not have to be from a novel it can be from any thing.
The difference between a novel and a short story is that a novel are usually longer than a short story, has more characters and has a bigger plot. On the other hand, a short story contains a much shorter plot, less characters, and the length of a short story is much more shorter then a novel.
